Range Description
This species is known only from the type locality, on the northern Cordillera Central, at Valdivia, in Antioquia Department, Colombia, at around 1,100m asl. It might occur more widely.
Habitat and Ecology
It is a subterranean species, occurring in humid tropical forest.

There is no information on its population status; it is known only from a few specimens.
