From the IUCN Red List Species Account:   Range Description This taxon is known only from the type locality of Schwe Gyen on the Sitang River, Pegu (Bago) Division, Myanmar. It is not possible to map its distribution, as it is not possible to accurately locate the type locality. Habitat and Ecology This is presumably an aquatic taxon with larval development. Population The population status of this species is not known. Population Trend Unknown Major Threats The threats to this species are not known. Conservation Actions It is not known if the species occurs in protected areas. Taxonomic Notes This name has not been associated with any known population of frogs in the wild.
