From the IUCN Red List Species Account:   Range Description This species has been found only in central and southern Kalimantan in Borneo, Indonesia, below 300m asl. It is likely to occur more widely than current records suggest. Habitat and Ecology It is known only from the floor of lowland rainforests, where it is associated with slow-flowing streams in which it is likely to breed by larval development. Population There is no information on its population status. Population Trend Decreasing Major Threats The major threat to this species is habitat loss due to logging. Conservation Actions It has not been recorded from any protected areas. Effective preservation of lowland forest in Kalimantan is essential for the conservation of this species.
