Range Description This species is known from hilly areas in central and south-western Hainan, China, from 290-1,000m asl. Habitat and Ecology It inhabits small, low-gradient streams, seepages and marshes in forested areas, and breeds in streams. Population It is not a common species. Population Trend Decreasing Major Threats The major threat is habitat loss, in particular due to agriculture and infrastructure development.
