From the IUCN Red List Species Account:   Range Description This species is known only from the Khasi Hills in Meghalaya State, India. Habitat and Ecology Its preferred habitat type is not known, although it is presumed to breed in freshwater and to have a larval development breeding strategy. Population It is known only from the lost type specimen. Population Trend Unknown Major Threats The threats to this species are not known. Conservation Actions It is not known if this species occurs in any protected areas. Taxonomic Notes This species was removed from the synonymy of Limnonectes kuhlii by Dubois (1986).
