Range Description
This species is known only from the type localities, Da Lat (Lam Dong Province, Lang Bian Plateau) and Thua Thien (Hue), in Viet Nam. These two type localities are so imprecisely known that they might be anything between a coastal lagoon to mountain areas over 1,500m asl.
Habitat and Ecology
It presumably breeds in water by larval development.
Population
This species has not been recorded again since it was first described.

Taxonomic Notes
The relationship of this species with Occidozyga laevis and O. martensii is unclear. It was placed in Occidozyga by Inger (1996). See note under O. martensii.
