From the IUCN Red List Species Account:   Range Description This species is known only from the non-specific type locality of Pichincha Province, in north-western Ecuador, where it was found below 800m asl. Habitat and Ecology This is probably a subterranean species in moist rainforest. Population The population status of this species is unknown.
