This species is known only from the non-specific type locality of Pichincha Province, in north-western Ecuador, where it was found below 800m asl.
Habitat and Ecology
This is probably a subterranean species in moist rainforest.
The population status of this species is unknown.
There is no information on threats to this species.
It is not known to occur in any protected areas.
