Range Description
This species is known only from Dharan, and its immediate vicinity, in Nepal, where it has been recorded from 100-300m asl.
Habitat and Ecology
It is a fossorial species associated with sandy marshland.
Population
It is common within its known restricted range.

Major Threats
The main threat to this species is the pollution of marshland by agrochemicals.
Conservation Actions
Further work is required to resolve the taxonomic issues surrounding this species' genus, including whether or not this is a valid species. It has been recorded from Kashitapo Wildlife Sanctuary.
