Range Description

This species is known only from the type locality, Mwana, at 1,650 m asl, near Mwenga, in southern Kivu (Sud-Kivu Province), eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.

Habitat and Ecology

There is no information on its habitat and ecological preferences, although it presumably breeds by direct development.

Population

The population status of this species is unknown. There have been no recent records, probably due lack of herpetological work within its range.
