Range Description

This species is known only from the type locality, south of RayĆ³n Mescalapa, in Chiapas, Mexico, although it might occur more widely. Its altitudinal range is not clear.

This is presumably a montane forest species that presumably breeds by direct development.

There is no recent information regarding its population status, presumably due to a lack of herpetological work within its range.
