Range Description

This Australian endemic is confined to central Northern Territory and just over the Queensland border. This region is very flat so the species is known only from low elevations. Its extent of occurrence is approximately 557,400km2.

Habitat and Ecology

An inhabitant of open grassland in the arid zone, its breeding cycle and tadpoles are unknown. It is presumed to respond to rainfall like other species of Cyclorana.

It is a common species.
