Description
E. brittoni is a small species, averaging 16mm SVL. It has one black line at each side, starting in the snout. They also have a black spot in the middle of the shoulders. The color of the back is grayish brown (Rivero 1998) .

E. brittoni is native to Puerto Rico. It is found in grasslands and road shoulders. The only areas it is found in high elevations is next to the roads (Rivero 1998). In some areas in the Cordillera Central it is the most abundant frog in the road shoulders.

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
This species calls and is found in grasses. The call is an irregular series of low chips (Rivero 1998).

Trends and Threats
No information is available. However, since it is very abundant in the areas it inhabits, it is probably stable. No threats have been identified.
