Description
A small Hyperolius (male 21 mm) from north-eastern Angola with a squat body and a large, broad head. Snout rounded. Colour in life pale green; after preservation, the dorsum is light with large dark spots. A dark band runs from tip of snout to upper eyelid. Only one specimen is known. According to Laurent it is a male with developed gonads. If this is correct the species is most remarkable in the absence of a gular flap and gular sac.
