Range Description

This species occurs in Sao Bento do Sul, Corupa, Blumenau, Florianopilis, and Garuva, Santa Catarina State, Brazil, at 100-700m asl. It is likely to occur more widely.

Habitat and Ecology

It occurs inside secondary and old growth forest in humid areas, on the ground or on stones and low vegetation. The details of its breeding biology are unknown.

Population

It is abundant and its population is stable.

A major threat to this species is habitat loss due to deforestation.
