Range Description

This species is known from several localities in the coastal lowlands of southeastern Papua New Guinea. It is restricted to coastal plains at very low altitudes.

Habitat and Ecology

It is found around swamps in lowland closed forest. It is also known from open areas such as rural gardens. It breeds in swamps and intermittent pools.

Population

It is a common species.
