Range Description

This species is known only from Upemba National Park in southern Democratic Republic of Congo, although it might occur more widely. It has been recorded from 960-1,300 m asl.

Habitat and Ecology

There is no information on this species' habitat and ecology, but it is presumably a savannah species that breeds by larval development in waterbodies.

Population

There is no information on its population status. There have been no recent records, presumably due to lack of herpetological work within its range.
