Range Description

The species is reported to occur in the chaco region of Bolivia (Provinces of Beni and Santa Cruz), Paraguay and northern Argentina (Provinces of Salta, east of Jujuy, Formosa, Chaco, north of Santiago del Estero, Santa Fe and Corrientes), and in the regions of pantanal and cerrado in central Brazil (states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Tocantins, Goiás, Distrito Federal and Minas Gerais) (see Caramaschi, 2006).

The species is associated to savannah-type environments.
