The exact location of the type locality in Colombia of this species is not known (and so it is not possible to draw a map of its range), but it is hypothesised that it is in southern Antioquia Department (Lynch pers. comm.).
Habitat and Ecology
Since the type locality is not known its habitat and ecology are also not known. It could breed by direct development if it is like other members of the genus.
This species is known only from one specimen.
The major threats to it are unknown.
The exact locality where the species was found needs to be determined and a search for more specimens is necessary. Only after the locality has been rediscovered can more research into the species' real range, population status and habitat requirements be undertaken.
