Known from a few specimens collected from the Mitchell Plateau in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The extent of occurrence of the species is approximately 11300 km2

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
Dense grassland subject to flooding. Breeding biology unknown.

Trends and Threats
Distribution based on few, scattered records. Little knowledge of its biology or ecology. Found only in remote areas where no significant threatening processes are known to impact on the taxon.
