Franco Andreone is Curator at the "Sezione di Zoologia" (Zoological Department), Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali, Torino, Italy. His research includes several aspects of the Amphibian and Reptile natural history, including evolution, biogeography, environmental adaptations, eco-ethology and conservation. Recently he has described several new taxa of Amphibians and Reptiles of Madagascar.
Special interests: Amphibians of Europe and Madagascar.
