Range Description

This species is known from the slopes and piedmont of the Cordillera Oriental in the departments of Cundinamarca and Meta, Colombia. It has been recorded from 450-1,800m asl.

Habitat and Ecology

This species is known from altered forests, and occurs on bushy vegetation. It is associated with fast flowing streams.

Population

It is a common species.

Agriculture might be a localized threat to the species but there are no major threats to the species survival at present.
