Range Description

This species from eastern Brazil occurs in the State of Bahia, Brazil, from Teixeira de Freitas north to Cairu. It ranges up to 130m asl.

Habitat and Ecology

It lives on low vegetation inside primary and secondary forest. It does not occur in more open areas. It breeds by direct development.

Population

It is a very common species.

The major threats are probably related to habitat loss due to agriculture, wood plantations, livestock grazing, and logging and human settlement.
